BDC campers under the age of six years old may be enrolled in our Young Children’s Program. The YCPs are the summer component of our year-round early childhood school, The Family School, which shares the Brewster Day Camp campus. BDC YCPs are welcomed and taught by master’s level early childhood teachers, and are fully integrated into co-ed toddler and pre-school groups with year-round Family School children. All YCP campers enjoy a daily Red Cross swim lesson in our pool as well as age appropriate activities based on a weekly theme. Infants and toddler siblings of BDC campers may enroll in the YCP program as is available. The following is a typical day in the YCP program for campers ages 3-5. (Infants and toddlers schedules vary depending on the individual child’s needs.):

YCP Curriculum – Experienced Family School teachers create age-appropriate activities built around weekly themes which include art, music, nature, science, and more!
