Groups
K-8th Grade Campers are divided by gender and age in Tent Groups on:

Admirals Hill: 10-14 Year Olds / 5th - 8th Grade
Sailors Hill: 7-10 Year Olds / 2nd - 5th Grade
Mariners Hill: 5-7 Year Olds / K - 2st Grade
Young Children's Program: Infant - Age 5.3

Under Five Year Old Campers are placed in co-ed Infant, Toddler, and Pre-School groups under the direction of The Family School. This Young Children's Program enjoys a daily Red Cross swim lesson and age appropriate activities based on a Weekly Theme. (see Camp Calendar)

Daily Schedule
Spanning eight 1 week sessions, BDC offers a full day schedule with 5, 3, or 2 day options. The following is the daily camp schedule:

8:00	Campus open - Early drop off
8:30	CAMP DAY BEGINS
8:45	Opening Assemblies by Hills
9:00 - 12:00	Activity Periods
12:00	Lunch
12:30 - 1:00	Tent Time
1:00 - 4:00	Free Swim and Choice Activities for Admirals Hill. Choice, Free Swim and Afternoon Activities for Mariners and Sailors Hill Quiet time, Free Swim, and Afternoon Activities for the YCPs
4:00-4:30	Tent Clean Up, Snack, and Closing Assemblies
5:00	THE CAMP DAY ENDS and late pick-up until 5:30

Challenges
BDC encourages all campers regardless of age, to set and achieve personal goals through a variety of programs all of which are included in the basic enrollment fee. Inspired by our staff, campers accomplish their goals in activities of their own choosing.
2nd-8th Grade
Choice Challenge: Wednesday Afternoons elementary age campers have an opportunity to explore an extended choice time 1:00-3:00.
BDC Extras: Trips, Lessons (See Extras Brochure for details).
Choice Activity Time: Daily campers choose to revisit favorite activities to engage further in the rich curriculum offered. After a Free Swim in the pool the oldest campers partake in an afternoon of choice activities 2:00-4:00.

5th-8th Grade Only
AHAA (Admirals Hill Activity Achievement): With the guidance of their tent counselors, campers pursue AHAA allowing them to explore activity curricula both in-breadth and in-depth.
BDC Players Performance: Friday afternoon beginning at 3:15 campers perform a weekly play for the entire camp.
BDOC (Brewster Day Camp Outdoor Challenge): Provides campers with an opportunity for group and individual challenges on the low ropes course as well as various off campus trips such as boogie boarding, mountain biking, roller blading and more.
OCR (Older Camper Responsibility): For one hour a day, OCR's may choose to assist in the toddler and pre-school programs. "OCRing" helps to determine eligibility for the CLP Program.

Special Events
Special Events are offered to regularly scheduled campers at no extra charge. Children not registered for camp on the day of a desired Special Event, may add the Special Event as a single camp day. See the Enrollment Form for details. All Special Events take place rain or shine.
